Alex Feng


Alex joined Barker Evans in January 2024 and is a pragmatic and cost-effective advocate in the areas of Family, Criminal and Wills & Estates Law. Alex graduated with a Bachelors of Commerce (Finance)/Laws from the University of New South Wales in 2021, having completed part of his study at the Schulich School of Business in Toronto and Harvard University. He was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in November 2022 and enrolled onto the High Court of Australia’s register of practitioners in November 2023.
Prior to joining Barker Evans, Alex gained experience working for a boutique national firm. Alex gained further experience as an Associate to a Judge of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division Two) at the Parramatta Registry. Alex’s close working relationship with the judiciary positions him uniquely to advise clients as to prospects in contested hearings and the niceties of registry process.
Alex completed his Practical Legal Training at the HIV/AIDS Legal Centre. His work and ethos in the protective Immigration space is exemplar of his passion for individual justice and his aspiration for outcomes beneficial to the community at large.
