Alyssa Maschmedt

Alyssa is currently completing a double degree in Law and Communication (Journalism) at the University of New South Wales. Since 2023, Alyssa has worked at Belier Family Law and Mediation, where she gained hands-on experience supporting clients and legal professionals in a family law setting. Alyssa joined Barker Evans in July 2025, bringing with her this valuable background in client engagement and family law support.

At Barker Evans, Alyssa plays a key role in legal research, administrative coordination, and client liaison. Her strong interpersonal skills and approachable manner help foster a supportive and reassuring environment for clients navigating emotionally challenging and complex legal matters.

With a solid foundation gained from previous paralegal experience in family law, Alyssa has developed exceptional attention to detail, organisational strengths, and communication skills. She is skilled in navigating sensitive client matters with professionalism, consistently ensuring clients are supported with clarity and care.

Outside of her professional and academic pursuits, Alyssa enjoys playing basketball and exploring new cultures through travel.
