KAREN OLIVEIRA

Karen is the Practice Director of Barker Evans.

With her legal background and over 11 years’ experience, Karen is the first point of contact for clients wishing to engage with our firm. She is responsible for the management of the firm and has a detailed knowledge of our teams individual knowledge, experience and expertise.

Karen graduated from the University of Technology, Sydney and was admitted as lawyer in New South Wales in 2012. She completed her practical legal training at Marrickville Legal Centre where she was exposed a to variety of matters.

After graduating, Karen worked for a boutique firm in Sydney where she was involved in large corporate litigation matters. She has also worked in a large international firm assisting in mergers & acquisitions and commercial litigation.

Since early 2017, Karen has developed a passion for family law and criminal law. She joined Barker Evans in 2019.

Originally from Brazil, Karen has been living in Australia since 2001. Her vibrant and compassionate personality is an asset to our firm and clients.
